OBEY

On the occasion of 35 years of artistic production and the first solo exhibition of Shepard Fairey (Obey) in Italy, this monograph presents a rich corpus of works by the famous American street artist, including his most significant works, alongside others created for the occasion. Known for the famous HOPE poster, emblem of Obama's 2008 presidential campaign, Obey's style is essential and bold, with a minimalist palette, guided by the hip hop and punk cultures that taught the artist to question social conventions. His works invite the public to question issues of great social relevance.
