Published as a tribute to the first edition of the 1978 graphic novel, the Limited Edition of Lanterna Magica is a large-format volume featuring three numbered silkscreen prints, authenticated by the Guido Crepax Archive and printed in a run of 100 copies each, as well as an art print created by Lorenzo Mattotti. Numbered from 101 to 200: Imitations. As if facing a sensual and sinuous double, Valentina finds herself face to face with her own complementary self, in a vis-à-vis that generates an image capable of deepening and transforming with every glance. The composition suggests both duality and unity — an intimate dialogue between reflection and desire. It is probably one of the most accomplished and fascinating depictions of Valentina ever created by Guido Crepax.
