The work consists of an original sculpture, carved by the artist from Cameroonian Ayous wood, created for his exhibition at Palazzo Reale in Milan to mark his 67th birthday, and the artist’s book/diary "Mi mundo en imágenes", both housed in a protective box made of fir wood. This precious Limited Edition is designed to illuminate the intimate journey of one of the greatest sculptors of our time. Through 312 plates, the artist explores memory, tracing a fragmented path through his own life, punctuated by passions and emotions: an intimate journey through his artistic practice. With this work, Pablo Atchugarry invites us to take part in a sort of “game of the goose”, in which each square corresponds to a significant moment in his artistic exploration, inevitably leading back to his art.
