Pascal Haudressy

The works of Pascal Haudressy (1968–2021), a visual artist of Tatar origin, combine sculpture, painting and new technologies. His practice includes digital images, virtual reality and artificial intelligence. In his view, drawing and sculpture can no longer be seen as fixed structures, but rather as generative forms in the making. He deliberately introduces bugs into the calculations underlying digital images, bringing about unpredictable mutations. This publication, which follows a first book published by Skira, brings together contributions from exhibition curators and specialists close to the artist.
