Wilmotte Murano

Published following the “Agua e fogo” (Water and Fire) exhibition, this book presents the work of designer Jean-Michel Wilmotte through the prism of craftsmanship. The “Vaisseaux” (Vessels) collection is the result of a collaboration between Wilmotte, inspired by his childhood memories at his father’s pharmaceutical laboratory, and Murano glassmakers who carry with them the history and outstanding craftsmanship of these workshops of the Venetian lagoon. This book presents delicate objects with pure lines that showcase symmetry and balance, principles that Wilmotte is particularly fond of in his work.
