The volume, which constitutes the most complete and up-to-date monograph dedicated to Daniele Galliano, presents a selection of paintings made by the artist from 1993 to the present day and includes essays by Demetrio Paparoni, Carter Ratcliff, Eleonora Castagnone and Antonio Zaya. Self-taught by training, Galliano began exhibiting in Turin, where he lives and works, in the early 1990s, quickly gaining a prominent place within the new Italian painting scene that took its first steps in the late 1980s. His “photographic realism”, his images of places and people, soon began to be noticed beyond our borders, and allowed him to participate in important solo and group exhibitions in Europe and the United States. His collaborations with musicians, directors and writers were numerous.
