Dedicated to one of the most important Chinese painters of our time, in whose research Eastern and Western artistic traditions meet, this monograph, published on the occasion of his first solo exhibition in Italy, presents a selection of works created from 2013 to the present. Wang Guangyi participated in the 2013 Venice Biennale and his works are present in the permanent collections of museums around the world. The work of Wang Guangyi (Harbin, 1957) is rooted in the aesthetics of Kant, as a fundamental point of reference, and analyses the effects of political and commercial propaganda, as well as the relationship with the divine.
