Reza Lavasani, born in 1962 in Tehran, is a multifaceted artist: painter, sculptor, illustrator, and stage designer. He studied philosophy for many years, focusing on mythology, sociology, and history, themes that are prominent in his work. Reza Lavasani uses various media but frequently explores the same subjects like horses, birds, women, and trees, transforming these universal symbols in unique poetic representations. This book, with its meticulous selection of works, aims to create a dialogue between the texts and the works. Reza Lavasani has exhibited globally and represented Iran at the 58th Venice Biennale in 2019.
